Service Description
With Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, join me to learn special macarons that resemble traditional baked mooncakes & Piglet mooncakes as innovative gift ideas for loved ones & friends! You also get to learn how to make your own reduced sugar & non-greasy lotus paste filling at home & use this for other pastries! During this 4-hours class, you will learn: - Swiss meringue method of making macarons. - Macaron batter piping techniques including creating indented features. - How to create a realistic egg wash look on baked macaron shells. - Reduced sugar lotus paste for filling macarons. - Salted egg yolk filling. Bring a friend or family member to join you in sharing your set of ingredients, with an additional $40 charge. Qty: Minimum of 3 "traditional baked mooncake" Mooncarons and 3 Piglet Mooncarons (note that each "traditional baked mooncake" Mooncaron is made of 3 macaron shells) Group Size: 8 participants Minimum age to join class: 14 years old
