These adorable shiba fatcarons came about because I asked myself the question "Why must macaron fillings be piped?? Can't they be shaped by hand? 🤔" The shibas sandwiched between pumpkin shaped macaron shells are hojicha & vanilla flavoured with a strawberry raspberry ganache surprise center.
- Make Swiss meringue method macarons.
- Pipe simple pumpkin shaped macaron shells.
- Mixed berry ganache.
- Make low fat, low sugar filling that is temperature stable in hot climates.
- Colour the filling with natural food colouring.
- Shape the filling to adorable shibas.
