The most popular Japanese confection, the strawberry shortcake has made its way into almost every corner around the globe. Soft pillowy sponge, paired with delightfully sweet chantilly cream, together with slightly tart strawberries, not forgetting an intense home made strawberry jam (a BG special twist), what's not to love? During this 3.5-hours class, you will learn how to: - Make a génoise. - Cook strawberry jam. - Make stabilised whipped cream and learn to identify the different stages of whipped cream. - Torte and fill a cake. - Frost a cake using whipped cream. Students will prepare all the components individually. Participant will bring back a 6 inch cake. Minimum age to join class: 16 years old
