Presenting to you the humble banana cake with a great big twist. Comprising layers of moist, flavoursome banana sponges, whose humble status will be elevated with the addition of miso caramel. Learn how to frost a cake in alternating colours to achieve this sprightly façade, and get to make your own mini bananas made out of a simple home made pastillage. During this 4-hours class, you will learn how to: - Bake a one bowl banana cake. - Cook caramel with Miso. - Whip up pastry cream. - Mix cream cheese icing. - How to frost cakes in alternate colours. - How to make and handle pastillage. Students will prepare all the components individually. Minimum age to join class: 16 years old
