Service Description

The Religieuse - a popular French pastry made with two choux pastries filled with crème pâtissière. This pastry dessert has been part of the French confectionery heritage since the 19th century. Learn how to create this french classic pastry with a modern tropical twist. A multi textural pastry comprising of light choux pastry (Pâte à Choux), luscious pastry cream (Crème Pâtissière) and a crunchy layer of Craquelin. Decorate with piped buttercream frosting to create your very own Religieuse. During this 4-hours class, you will learn how to: How to create Choux pastry How to make Craquelin How to prepare Pastry Cream (3 different flavours, Mango, Pineapple, Lime) How to make a white chocolate glaze How to properly glaze a cream puff Assembling a religieuse Students will prepare all the components in pairs, but will decorate and finish their religieuse individually. Minimum age to join class: 16 years old
