Service Description

The lesser known cousin of the Opéra, but just as elaborate, in terms of flavour and technicality. Layers of moreish hazelnut dacquoise sandwiching a double flavoured crème au beurre and an intense yet airy whipped Ganache., speckled with crushed roasted hazelnuts to give it an additional boost in flavour and texture. During this 3.5-hours class, you will learn how to: - Bake a dacquoise and learn to identify the different stages of meringue. - Make crème au beurre (French buttercream). - Make ganache the quick way and how to whip it. - Frost a cake. - Make a quick a simple chocolate glaze Students will prepare all the components individually. Minimum age to join class: 16 years old
